First visit of Mrs. Amanda Wright Lane in Le Mans
Historical moment : the reunion of Wright and Bollée families in Le Mans
Acompanied by Mrs. Dawne DEWEY, Curator in Chief of Wright University Library, Mrs. Amanda WRIGHT LANE goes for the first time to le Mans and Sarthe. Beside the reunion with the Bollée family in Le Mans, a very dense program is scheduled.
The Golf Medal of Le Mans city is presented to Mrs. WRIGHT LANE and Mrs. DEWEY by Mr. Jean-Claude BOULARD, Mayor of Le Mans city and President of Le Mans Metropolis (200,000 citizens). During the ceremony Mr. BOULARD named Marc DENOUEIX as......President of the Centennial Committee...which was really to imagine then create !
